Truth

New Zealand-based Dubstep legends, TRUTH, mark their second release on Deadbeats with a punchy 2-track EP. Building off the guttural, low-end focused productions they've built their name on, “Blowfly” takes TRUTH’s sound to new heights. A meticulous fusion of unruly, futuristic basslines, slamming drum-work and percussive vocal chops, “Blowfly” is set to electrify festival stages.

"This release, “Blowfly” is two sides of the TRUTH sound, tracks made with the dancefloor in mind. “Hoodlums” exists in the darker, low-end region. Tense and slightly dystopian, with the “bad boys” vocal hook setting up a drop built to hit hard on a proper sound system. “Blowfly” switches the vibe with skippy high energy drums, Latin and Middle Eastern melodic touches, detailed sound design and synths that cut through the mix. Two different moods, cut from the same cloth. Both have been well tested on big systems and packed dancefloors."
